Waiver

  1. Acknowledgment of Activities

    I understand that my child will be participating in a sewing class that involves the use of sewing machines, needles, scissors, pins, cutting tools, irons, and other craft equipment. I acknowledge that these activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts, burns, scrapes, needle punctures, equipment malfunction, tripping hazards, or other accidental injuries.

  2. Medical Authorization

    In the event of an emergency, I authorize the sewing instructor or supervising adult to seek medical care for my child. I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs that may arise from such care.

  3. Assumption of Risk

    I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my child's participation in this sewing class. I agree that the instructor, volunteers, employees, and facility owners/operators are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during the class, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law.

  4. Release of Liability

    I hereby release and hold harmless the sewing instructor, any assistants, the hosting facility, and all associated personnel from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my child’s participation in this activity.

  5. Behavior and Participation

    I understand that my child is expected to follow all safety rules and instructor directions. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the class without refund.
