Bag Masters: Project Workshop

Bag Masters: Project Workshop

Calling all bag making addicts! Whether you're a seasoned pro or still feeling out the bag making scene, you'll have a blast sewing alongside Lins and making a new project each month!

Each month we will gather together and make one of the cutest bags on the market! All the fabric, material, supplies, and tools needed are INCLUDED, along with the pattern for you to keep, and 3 1/2 hours of hands on instruction and cheerleading!

JULY: H20 To Go!
Join us in July for step by step instructions on how to make your own water-bottle holder!! THIS IS NOT A PROJECT WE WILL FINISH DURING THE WORKSHOP! But never fear! LindsHandmade (the pattern writer) has a full-length how-to video on her YouTube channel, Linds Handmade Designs, showing you how to make this bag from start to finish if you need any additional support. This is an intermediate pattern, in that it uses advanced bag making techniques that require the sewer to have a general familiarity with bag making. It requires accurate cutting/sewing and installing a curved zipper which can be challenging for new sewers.

Specs: roughly 11" tall at its tallest (along the sides) with an oval base that is 6" wide by 4 inches deep. The interior compartment is left wide open so as to accommodate all different sized water bottles, (a 32oz Yeti was confirmed to fit inside.) The front pocket is 8" tall and has 2 inner slip pockets (both large enough to fit an iPhone 8+, cash, passport or face mask) and 4 card slots that can easily be doubled up for more storage. There is a bonus option in the pattern showing you how to make it without the card slots if you have no need for those, substituting a slip pocket and pen pocket instead, AND another option eliminating that front pocket entirely if sewing for a child.
