Intermediate Series - Garments!

Have you completed our Beginner Series and feel ready to take the next step? Get started with some garment sewing! We'll guide you through some basic garment techniques that will give you a solid foundation for independent sewing or our more advanced classes. 

How to Get Started:

• You can jump in any time! Just choose 4 dates that work best. If you finish earlier, we'll remove the extra dates for you. 
• Choose your project (we'll ask which you'd like during registration) and get started!
  

What's Included in $199:

• Pattern and fabric for any one of these garments
• 2 to 4, 90-minute sessions to finish one of these garments
• Access to necessary machines, notions, and materials. 

Garments 101 Projects:

Project 1: Matchy Matchy Sewing Club Kite Pants

These beginner-friendly pants feature two kinds of pocket application and an elastic waistband. They're adorable, barrel-leg, and can be made in a variety of fun fabrics for different looks. We love them for getting started with reading patterns! 

Project 2: The Boxy Tee

Dive into the world of knit fabrics with this wardrobe basic! You can make it oversized or crop it to your liking. We'll learn how to cut and manipulate knit fabrics and sew a faced neckline. We'll show you some tricks for making knit fabric play nice with your sewing machine. 

Project 3: Friday Patterns Ilford Jacket

This layering piece is truly impressive, but approachable. You'll learn to sew a collar, choose as many or as few pockets as you'd like, and learn to use snaps or buttons.
