Sewing Machine Basics

Even if you've never sewn a stitch, don't be nervous! This class will get you friendly with the sewing machine-- yours or ours. All supplies are included and you don't need to bring anything but a willingness to learn.

We'll cover:

Threading

Tension

Stitch Length, Width, and Functions

Presser Feet

Needles, Changing and Choosing

We'll even make your first project, a key fob!

Please choose *one* date that works best for your schedule. This class is offered on Tuesday afternoons, Wednesday evenings, and Saturday mornings on an ongoing basis. 

After this class, you'll be ready to move on to our Beginner Series. We offer our beginner classes at different times during the week on an ongoing basis and you can start anytime. All supplies and machines are always included.
