T-Shirt Memory Quilt with Linda!

Turn your collected t-shirts into a practical way to memorialize a person, event, or other fond memories. Join this 3-part workshop where you will create your own Memory T-Shirt Quilt. Great for gifts, wall hanging, or a practical throw quilt. The final size of the finished quilt will be throw-size.

Ages: Recommended 14 and up

What is included

Guided in-person instruction, fusible Interfacing, batting, and professional long-arm quilting to finish off your creation. In class, you will have access to sewing machines, rotary cutters, cutting rulers and mats, scissors, and clips. A “created by” label will be provided at the final workshop to label your creation.

Included in the price of your workshop is the cost to professional long-arm quilt your creation. This will be completed by your instructor between sessions 2 and 3. You will have opportunity to consult with her regarding the edge-to-edge quilting design. This is an approximate value of $100.

What you will need:

• Basic sewing experience
• Sewing machine at home for homework
• Fabric for backing and binding (this can be purchased at our shop at your expense, or you can supply)
• 16 – 25 t-shirts (washed/uncut).
